Building organisational resilience for the future
Foreseeable is a specialist consultancy established to bring forward action on climate change. This is my way of using my experience and knowledge to help shape a better future for the next generation and the six after that.
Many organisations delay action on climate change on the basis that the impacts are unforeseeable or that it is really hard to know what the future might hold. My view is that if you put in the work to understand your relationship with the climate, and the aspects of our economy that contribute to climate change, the impacts start to become foreseeable.
I don’t look at climate change in isolation. I take a holistic view that ensures the organisations I work with are also creating positive social and environmental impacts as part of their response to climate change.
I am happy to work at both an organisational and system level to create the small (and not so small) shifts needed to realign our activities to be climate ready.

I firmly believe the best people to manage your climate risks and opportunities are within your organisation. As I work alongside organisations I am mindful of sharing knowledge and developing skills that will leave you better placed to tackle the challenge. I am happy to play a role as a coach, mentor or trainer to ensure your team is building its capability.
Encourage collaboration
Addressing climate change requires everyone to play their part and to look for collaboration opportunities. During client engagements I consider who the players are that can help you move faster or more effectively. Conversely I will also challenge you to think about who you could work alongside to create greater impact.
Systems approach
Climate change is an economic, social and environmental challenge. By thinking about the various interconnections between these domains I can help you avoid creating unintended consequences and also maximise the impact of your actions.
